Blast Boxers by BCB prevent injury
These aren’t your average pair of cotton underwear.
“Blast Boxers” — created by the Welsh company BCB Inc. — are made of two layers of Kevlar and a flame-retardant material to help prevent blast and fragment injuries to the groin.
The company has started to make them at Seneca Cayuga Industries in Seneca Falls, the only manufacturing site for the shorts in the United States, said Neil Gold, government contract manager for BCB.
